Blond Koa Blue Paua Abalone Concert Ukulele
I’m really behind in my posts, but here is the mate to the Blond Curly Koa Ukulele that I posted last. This is a blond koa blue paua abalone concert ukulele, and, I believe, is still availabile at Hale Ukulele in San Diego.

Blue Fiber to Blue Paua Abalone makes for a different look
The Koa selection is the same. What is different, besides the size, is the position of the blue/black fiber adjacent to the Blue Paua Abalone purfling. Here the Blue faces the Blue Paua Abalone. It does give a different appearance.

Otherwise, the build is exactly the same as the Blond Curly Koa Ukulele with a Honduran Mahogany neck (carbon fiber truss rod), India Rosewood binding, Paua Abalone Purfling, India Rosewood finger board and bridge, and Australian Malee Burly for accent woods, Gotoh Gold UPT tuners, and gold Evo frets.
I used a silver wound low “G” to compliment the usual GHS flourocarbon strings. Go blond, go concert!
