Three Amigos Super Tenor Ukulele - Custom Build-Sold
It’s an inside joke. Here’s the Three Amigos Super Tenor Ukulele on it’s way to the great state of Texas.
The Woods
See what you started Pat!
The Soundboard is curly Port Orford Cedar. This is stump salvage.
The Back and Sides are Western Curly Claro Walnut. This is the last of this particular look in that wood. I did mention that in my last post, but I have some new stock that is pretty darn exciting as well. You betcha!
The Neck is solid mildly curly Claro Walnut as well. This with a sanded finish. So smooth.
The Accent Wood is Curly Hawaiian Koa.
The Fret Board and Bridge are west African Ebony Species.
The Tuner face is Oregon Black Walnut Burl.
Oh, and the Binding is Hawaiian Curly Koa–great match with the walnut.
The Rest of the Build
Back and lower bout lamination are Martin-style Mini Zipper.
Tuners are black Gotoh UPTs.
Strings are Pepe Romero flourocarbon with wound low “G”.
Case is a Johnny Cash Black Crossrock Fiberglass with bordello red interior. Tre’s sexy!
There you go y’all. The Three Amigos Super Tenor Ukulele should make a hit at the local watering hole for sure.
