A Lefty Custom Tenor Ukulele - Sold

I’m limiting custom orders, but I couldn’t turn down this referral for A lefty Custom Tenor Ukulele.  This is a super tenor shape.

Curly Hawaiin body.

Let The Wood’s Speak For Themselves

Body:  All Hawaiian Koa.  Maybe not the curliest set in the world but it does have a lot of interesting looks.

A Lefty Custom Tenor Ukulele

Koa and Mahogany.

Neck:  Central American mahogany with sanded epoxy finish. Carbon truss rod.

Fret Board and Bridge: the holy grail of tonewoods, radiused Brazilian Rosewood.  Every piece of wood on an instrument accents the tone of that instrument.  As long as it lasts and is instrument color compatible, I’m adding rosewoods for this feature.

And

I’d say this instrument sounds typically koa–mid-range at the present but the strings not yet set at delivery. I expect to open substantially with a bit of playing.  I’m not sure that the center sound hole request makes a substantial difference in tone, but I’m definitely sold on the off-center design at the present time–the more “free” sound board the better.  I had to keep reminding myself over and over that this was a left hand design with just a couple of non-major slip ups like”oops” the headstock has to be mirror image of a righty and better place that sound port on the other side dude.  So there you go, A lefty Custom Tenor Ukulele-done!
